Scope and Purpose of Job
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

* Q9 S* G% G1 }8 @, }% j: P/ Y- F% N•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
: k# w0 i/ _) `3 c# l: x! U•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
; a8 B. P3 R% K* J$ g6 N, B•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
% l8 E" u! w* K, J& V4 Z# P" }( |o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
: O% \! r$ h& O% Go        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 `+ X  W$ y+ B7 S" Q& l3 ~0 Fo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
: F$ O$ h' n% [* ?0 E3 f6 `1 Jo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
, ~+ T3 E% _' V" u& }o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
& k8 w( B& I& }4 @, _4 to        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
, q8 T2 ?" F. S•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
0 \" |, U) I+ I9 e! W0 I•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
