The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

2 X$ R* G9 B; C& MResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
  S7 _) |& C, O• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management

* C- g3 w: q6 {( _/ W6 ?• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
* x0 U0 N# C3 B0 k  C9 Q4 J  \Education
$ }, r$ O) ]! {5 L6 k$ K• Completion of a high school diploma
: F& g2 P, [; z8 z• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
$ y8 @1 s; o  B" ]5 w1 D3 d• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
, t5 q3 o6 f9 }8 {: h* C* B+ \• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

* D, m1 f" _% b3 |- D0 E* a• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
