The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
1 d% B& C" I9 b9 z1 `" S• Program implementation
$ f9 i+ S) f1 t9 c7 f• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
; \1 @" T* u- s! S9 I• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
1 t+ ^5 |* K' c& W6 l! y• Behavior management
$ B0 m( M+ g8 j; g& p• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
3 d, q- r6 s7 ?+ u3 O- r: P( mEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
0 u% Z! _5 x1 z: T; c• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
( N) _7 s9 u* Z3 d• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
