The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
0 ?: S. k$ Q" g& M& y7 f• Program implementation
& c1 p$ p1 @& t+ z5 a; B, ?• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
+ P( L  j  |6 z, n8 g• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
  ~0 j2 L5 h! k  O5 u9 c• Behavior management
% m! X3 U+ ~( `/ c3 ~2 c5 y• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
0 P/ s& Q) P! ?Education
- {1 J' P( C; P7 X. v) R& U( _• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
% m0 N2 a" x. r) V) S) oTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
6 j/ v- X7 |3 W& `+ k& u• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
0 B2 Y% A; @, ~+ k, B• Standard First Aid with CPR
0 b* D* a# B/ j1 u; I• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
) Z; K6 d6 E) F/ Z' I• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
