The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
; ?0 q. J6 u+ l, \! g• Program implementation
; K) u% ~1 q) p0 q& K. W& `* ~9 q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

/ ~) r: n' z  t: r+ S- L, AMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
, E1 V. k6 @9 M9 N• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
* h7 ]6 N' P7 k0 o1 ^! d/ a• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
6 U: J4 k+ ]2 m2 x4 a- I/ L5 u$ H• Experience with personal care
6 x( W, O" P$ E• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
$ c1 v0 W; h7 H) I; k7 S0 ESalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
