Position:        Youth Leader
) d  e9 [# _4 wDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
3 C+ G" X% a* r2 l  V, QCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
, n& o8 {( n( b' }" G# YCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
  l  Y- M/ v4 @8 P5 M0 @*might work in other time in some specific days

( @2 O/ i9 D0 fDuties:
$ y4 b/ [; x/ L1 l( \5 r  U4 \To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
% b9 u2 H8 S& Q3 B
: d9 b) J# i  D& U6 @ Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
- D$ }) }0 q- n, ?5 ?+ q2 } Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
( D, [) S- W7 w! M$ a; U/ b Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training

$ b' R: O6 l& i4 O# M5 D Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
% a; Z- v: a7 I Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
. m" [1 d) u0 \% m2 s Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
5 O6 B6 q  x5 J! s8 V Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
