Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
( u% u7 K& Q4 I6 N( ~4 CCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
% _) Z* B) O% d8 B- A4 a*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

* Q+ P" j; ~) C/ h' v& a+ qDuties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
2 P& B1 Z; v. b/ L/ P
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
" q/ R% r1 V1 d- @4 t" \1 H* R Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
9 x  a7 t* _" O8 M1 l; G% ]0 r' H1 T/ Z; I Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
  r" T# m2 i: j- I/ h' C Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
- n+ [( T* J4 u9 `1 i3 B Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
1 }8 @8 k7 i- n# D+ P9 n A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
- N: w5 N1 L# x+ T# g* J$ T: L2 O Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
- a& a6 ]( B& y6 H# ^: j Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
