提醒及Traffic ticket 问题

受到超速罚单，限速50，照片显示65，104Ave. & 135Street. 就是100Ave.变 Jasper &104Ave.的三岔口附近。小心警车照相。
不想交罚款，上庭，应注意什末？什末理由可被法庭接收以减免罚金？

按偶家老闆（法庭常客）說，
在發單上說的上庭時間前要到法庭去“討價”，一般都會給個折。比全價好

都已经人赃俱获了，怎么抵赖也不行阿，你难道能说就是没超速？
老老实实去交罚单，一般可以7折

不想交罚款是不可能的，除非你赶上像前段时间说照相机不准的大赦

is it really worth the effort to fight the speeding ticket? you were caught with speed of 65km/h at a 50km/h zone. the penalty is $87. if it was a photo radar, then there's no demerit points. if you go to alberta justice of peace and plea guilty, they will reduce your fine to $55. pay it and move on with your life. if you want to fight in a court, you have zero chance of winning the case.

I'd like to fight to the end are based on reasons listed below:
1. It is a radar photo which taken by a ghost car. EPS would rather spare a cruiser plus one or may two officers in controlling speed in some selected area than stopping homicides. It annoys me.
2. The penalty is $110, and the prosecutor agrees to reduce it down to 75. It does make huge difference. On top of all I really don't enjoy the prosecutor’s poke face, come on. man. It’s just a standard procedure, nothing else. It does mean he's superior over me.
3. As a first generation immigrant, there are so many lessons that have to be learned on my own cost. $35 is not the highest price which I have paid.

reading your arguments, all I can say is good luck. it's one thing to learn the lessons, it's another to be ignorant. when you're tagged by a photo radar from a ghost car, the only thing you can do to challenge it (a computer) is if it's caliberated properly. and the only thing the office has to do is to bring a copy of caliberation report to the court and you'll lose the case. all officers are always on standby. if there are emergencies happening else where, they will go investigate. stopping speeding vehicles is a part of their job description and it's also reducing number of fatalities/injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents.

in either case, you can do whatever you want. we're just here to help and offer advices.

减免还有可能，被免估计没戏，如果你扯独资扯的太狠了，让法官认为你浪费了他的时间，那就是麻烦的开始。

如果上亭，祈祷警察当天拉肚子无法来吧。

看你长的像守法还是不守法，也看法官心情愿意愿听。换我肯定交钱算了，全当我们给政府做贡献了。

当时照相机出问题，政府退还了几千万罚款，看那官员心疼的。说每月还在损失一百多万。他们完全把这个当政府收入的，罚不足钱都不甘心。

照相的怎知道開車是移民第一代或當地居民。即使是當地居民也會發牛肉乾的！

非常感谢NEB的信息，我上庭近量做到short, directly to the points, sweet. I’m just executing my legal right to reduce my damage and learning a life lesson. It has nothing to do with moral values. I will not lose any sleep on it. Thanks!
