Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:+ H( p* V3 Q0 c' I" o" x
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;) s, n+ R, p; w& F: } M
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.1 e+ G; r; u h' D# f+ ?# Y9 b
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
