Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
' F6 r) ~% x, v" N- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;, }0 ~1 S; j% d3 N) N
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter., g# r3 u# A" }. f. B* b
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff. D6 U, I. C0 u# T: n
