6 m5 _# U) u2 V& r g6 B& Z# b- ~7 Z* U- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
! Q3 y* x3 P% P. {' |* u- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
$ S% `: y9 t+ W! A4 @- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
! B/ m' l5 C2 G {- provide support to ISP staff
; g% F- n0 r* S t: [: o( D- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members% K) A5 w4 ^/ N5 {
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
3 G: E1 P3 h( \' `! P- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
$ P) N. V' q7 ]- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants% x( T% a1 `3 n7 R2 X% j* i; d
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals+ X. D4 P$ E h' G- `
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
0 o; k$ t$ t u6 }7 p4 n3 k- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
( p3 f3 d% D5 x- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities% }# c9 c+ C8 h. g7 l
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
" y) ]1 ~, g$ B3 h. c8 @8 I! ^- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
: x6 A2 E! i$ M- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers

- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
