- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information! k. j" O1 k- J* g- X, k
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
" |2 A. i* f/ b9 R& O- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP& r/ J0 V" y1 @6 D( h
- provide support to ISP staff
- S8 M* B' k# i0 r5 w- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members& b P' X; \$ [: @: f+ @" \1 Y
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities7 T$ e9 N! M A3 k8 \' J
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
( C ^& C: Q4 U- n2 }4 \2 I; e9 [- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants7 Q$ q( Y; i; @" y* l7 L
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals1 X! e& i; e, ~9 N/ p
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder, U4 m. {; h7 _ I" B' \+ q8 a; S; D
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc. v m9 D+ F+ ~: l; e A" I0 L
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities( S3 A9 }3 N% t5 a
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned: J5 i# [( n" _" x! h+ q5 _- X
- other duties as assigned

" u9 M% {7 Y4 v. X- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered/ _; T8 i. `. @5 S) I
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available) @* ]! _" i9 J7 Z. U. J! ]
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
* g) e! a! d$ O/ g/ }+ d E4 f- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software* S: N0 I3 U7 g- V& t2 ]
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
