An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.( T" ?( @3 r1 | a( V
9 \# i7 ~& H' LPolice charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.+ }8 ~4 p$ a( a# C0 `" [- i/ Y& g

The 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week. $ Y! r# `; }8 W
+ s8 B ~0 n5 l F% ] h
In a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo.

When Liu’s body was found Friday at 11 a.m., after an intruder interrupted a webcame conversation with her boyfriend in China, at least six detectives were able to swarm the scene immediately., r7 }' V% Z' E8 T
