Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team4 F7 [! w1 ^$ R
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
1 L+ ^0 w1 ]! o8 P9 {; p8 nMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).& [9 q- h# A, J& g/ h
! _+ v q" q# X# I$ A- b
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.) Z" H/ C7 u6 x: K2 i4 L" R* G+ |: h
/ C' V( e) Q6 U2 P* c) @/ [5 xJob Qualification+ P6 w# `/ o/ V+ {2 e
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
. N/ E$ R* O" O) e2 `/ YMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
, Y) }: `6 H* x0 A1 k8 ]School)
9 x7 D0 r' X& l9 fMust have supervisory experience
8 f4 }, c0 A4 t8 P+ D! ]% k* iMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system4 B" P5 ^" F4 J# J
Must be computer literate$ Q; ]( m4 K$ R. j
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.0 k2 U. O V+ o. _
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* L7 L( E u) P1 S7 U& f% w) E
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills4 X# f! I$ H7 K$ D& i* U: j. V3 f6 y) D, B
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already, N5 d$ V" E) c, w2 w% {7 _; @2 z6 \
