Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
6 \1 b2 w$ \( R nplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
( T, Z9 [7 Y, _7 T8 u3 J6 hMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).6 ?6 J" i( o1 S6 M0 B
; |# c* M. i9 E, z9 z7 sTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.; ]9 U6 w- [ \% q$ `9 U# y

Job Qualification8 N4 k3 R- H/ ^0 A8 ?% F$ p
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! t; Z$ D- k! |/ ~% `2 p
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
3 Z/ J9 |, i6 }( ?$ K8 rSchool)
# Q2 h0 G6 @4 w* [0 [! ]Must have supervisory experience$ _2 r- ?; e( F1 s3 Q
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
+ M2 }/ G: B S' D8 fMust be computer literate
. w/ v) l1 Z @# TMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
; k* U# N% E9 o" [4 VMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network, F7 |5 z1 c3 x, R
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
& m9 W6 U8 w/ \# M8 u# L1 |8 jMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already3 W1 [; G6 X2 X8 w* h8 B: P' t' U
