回国时候生病住院开刀了，回来怎么办理报销啊？

请有经验的大虾们指点一下！
老婆回国住院开刀了，一开始的时候保险还没有生效，到住院了一半的时候保险才开始生效。
所以，前面一段时间只是有移民的alberta health care的保险
+ K+ P- \$ e- g* Z5 R! j: |后面才有保险公司的保险。
我想先去alberta health care报，
有什么不能报的再去找保险公司！

You have to have travel insurance from your group plan or individual plan. Alberta Health Care doesn't include travel benefit.

Without a medical certificate and any supporting document from my famliy doctor ,  my medical expenses incurred in China were reimbursed in 2007 and 2011.

The AHC will cover maximum $100CAD/day for inpatient(staying in hospital)  and $50 CAD/day for outpatient, with a limit of one visit per day.

The remaining balance was paid by my group insurance company.

是可以报销的。重点是必须证明自己还是Alberta 的 Resident, 到海外旅游。

收据必须翻译成英文， 回来后在一定时间内填表格寄到Alberta Health Care。

但回国嘛，难免有急性的病。我没有提供Edmonton的医生证明。

比如， 我2007年回国时，住了4天医院+1天门诊，我附带了国内医院的出院小结，病因是“急性肺炎”。实际费用95%左右全报了。按标准 100加币*4天+50加币*1天。

  C7 [" ]; e. K" W: V1 n2010年回国，有一些医院门诊的费用，包括孩子急性结膜炎，自己过敏性皮炎（被虫咬了）...也基本报了。最后AHC只有9元多加币没报，我在公司的保险中报了。

; [: [6 q1 }$ T1.医院的收据和自己对收据的英文翻译。
8 X- _5 G% y# b1 A3 k2.还有病历页中的医生诊断(中文)。-这个不是必须，不过尽量做到材料清楚。
; B3 N* ^; _) q% f4 E- c* @3.在收据的英文翻译件下，简单地用一两句话用英语写个note, 这个是莫迭儿于几月几日回中国期间，由于xxx病就诊发生的费用。

我补了医生的CERTIFICATE 说明当时的情况只能在中国医治,
Alberta Health Care又说医生的CERTIFICATE 是事后补的,不算. 给了我那个香港断胳膊的案例.我如果不同意,可以要求HEARING.
我当时觉得不对, 我就要求HEARING. Alberta Health Care再也没理我.
当时病还没好全.没精力和 Alberta Health Care追究.

可能看病因。
6 p! M9 w8 c; J9 C3 d" q+ l- s0 E如果知道要动手术，可能保险起见，需要这儿的pre-approved？我不确信。因为没报过手术费。

' \; m/ _# G/ W* W( v2008我小孩回国时要住院做手术，当时也不是紧急到要马上做，只不过想在国内做手术起码语言沟通起来没问题，临时性的决定。回来后向AHC申请住院手术费用等报销，基本上都报了。不过最后到帐的等待时间比较长，足足三个月。
