Beginning in 1995, ETIP:

difficult to integrate into the Alberta workforce. Some employers may not

Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work: z. b4 N$ J6 P3 R- ^- q
experience and competency-based training, such as applied academics or

As of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have
4 J, p. g8 n( X8 Z# Rfound engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.2 f/ |( j4 f6 d1 \/ k1 d- P
In 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
; \0 |( @. w+ f* I# E9 v+ A$ i, lgraduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,7 R6 B1 V P+ m0 T+ j" `4 [0 y$ W
with over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.
