Breaking News: Death at Jackpine mine

Shell Canada has confirmed to Mix News that a death has occurred at the Shell Albian Sands Jackpine oil sands mine 75 kilometres north of Fort McMurray. B9 a" r( ^6 \8 U) U; K( `, J

Emergency crews responded to the scene at around 7:15 am, and the individual was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where they were pronounced dead.* N: U [$ N$ h3 o9 n! O
