Breaking News: Death at Jackpine mine

6 c) ^' c1 R2 A) K) I# O; bShell Canada has confirmed to Mix News that a death has occurred at the Shell Albian Sands Jackpine oil sands mine 75 kilometres north of Fort McMurray.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at around 7:15 am, and the individual was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where they were pronounced dead.0 y9 F. H/ n) {+ z @; }

RCMP are on scene and the name of the deceased has not been released.& Y: n& n0 M! m- z4 W

Shell says it believes the death was an "isolated event", and "does not appear to be related to workplace activity".
