  Duties
, t, {5 o0 H7 sDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
; B+ {. Y4 y* a* g. R  zObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
) Q) E- _  v8 S) N& \4 Q& |Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
5 ^0 J% p. u4 c$ h( i  L( H& BPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
6 |; J: [2 p# D5 _! p5 ?Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
Performs related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

) D# z6 c: B5 ]2 jCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
