  Duties
/ T8 ?- K6 n! s; }: C( p1 SAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
+ @- E2 U8 Q: p( n$ D1 n1 F2 Y# U& t0 VProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
  ~- I! K1 [( Q: CPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
Performs related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
0 L; a3 K; g1 `Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
% S  ]0 d  ~9 f0 R; \Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
" ~: x: I' j% k- S2 ?Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
