Duties
# k9 S" a( _( F$ OAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
/ }* [" Z) J) h3 oProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
- r' Z! O9 B# q/ P5 E- LPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed4 x& d8 {. }- T+ u
Performs related tasks as needed

) f: z1 ^' x9 HDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
9 C- n' a* _7 X. E- H' zDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
' E# j- J) Y+ W$ ?Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
) q: ?( k4 Q$ R: e) @3 zKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred3 ~6 J3 H/ }9 f0 l
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
