Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
' m$ }: V! c, s* M7 k■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
- \3 s& W# D& o, K/ q- O. _2 e2 z( T■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
* e8 f( J9 \" E; V* B; Y. r■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
0 m& v9 [! H0 ]6 b' g- t/ R3 h* O■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
% F) y7 e' w* \* q. @5 O2 `* A■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
4 x* n6 [4 R# g. c■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
8 n2 V" Z$ G; H1 v■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
