Responsibilities
, `& {% Y! O& O2 }# S9 A■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
: h# d2 d" G0 f1 O% b■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.% B- w% C* |# }; i$ V* g2 c
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
# Z( [% _+ C. T2 R1 K% eExperience and Education:
) Z& |2 C6 d! J) x5 C■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
6 F r- P, o! J# Y h/ l■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.6 c# ^. \/ J8 H X) \* r
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.4 A" C% @2 P7 o3 |
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;* |: ]8 }4 \% K! A5 e$ m w5 I
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
2 y9 j0 \9 w' ~9 C- q( h■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.6 R! H5 A; l: @7 ^
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.7 q- h0 @6 v, d+ |& z1 V
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.$ q8 k8 i, {/ r% C2 K: }! E
