0 T$ ]" K) A3 y( Z7 x■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations. O% G, B# X* s7 b9 V
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.+ A; r- L3 h& b+ E! |3 V
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships6 f& h+ w" l! s/ d
Experience and Education:
' J* R" j/ L( [7 C7 F■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.- C& N$ S: h1 m% e3 M9 F I
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.3 ~$ F1 m7 x' b& h- N$ S/ V# b4 s
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
( o5 M/ m* k. K2 g) A* W4 f■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;$ ]. {- l" j' b% Z0 }# W( D
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
3 I. o" P- S1 w3 U■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.. ?! g/ s) F, j* d- U* s# W3 N
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.' D( d8 y2 p7 s+ ]; N
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
