' F/ x0 N7 D% lKey Responsibilities & Duties:

 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
/ J$ u1 [9 q/ L0 _( R Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
7 }& M! F% [6 m2 @ Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
5 P4 L  w' c7 o7 Z4 Q! J9 @ Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
5 |% ]' H( z) b, p Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
; W! H/ U9 ]! ? Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
! g: R6 ^2 a9 f Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
. J/ [* N5 U/ O7 a) y) F" N; a( p* gThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
