0 L) t$ A, |. g( \4 p7 j2 V9 h0 X Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
7 H) R, @0 ]/ l2 h Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
3 j4 h! `' s6 U Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
6 }* O+ `  k6 w1 X, q6 y Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.


Qualifications:

) W, Q# e5 C& v/ |6 |! h: J Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
5 i3 D+ L. F* J7 V* v Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
! @+ z! o$ S- I  U7 K1 U9 {  T Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
: _; D. G  Q. ^7 G Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
- i4 O, J6 V4 U/ N8 C  F8 ] Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
' s- F$ j- y9 i2 O3 w* t  iThere is a 3-month probationary period.
