 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
3 Z8 _1 D, W( d( e- O Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
$ s- P) i, a% x' L% e Completing required paperwork.
; p+ a5 E" l- b  l* _' U: B Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
) \9 t7 W& N* j# R8 {) e0 u Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
+ O6 X! Y0 u" r: D$ f2 U Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
( l. D" ?+ f, o& j% Z9 }* m Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
+ x/ K& s1 Y; n/ f/ }$ h Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
* m/ N0 X1 D: m1 [# {
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
+ U6 _* p2 ?! J! F. X9 d% T Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
& F3 i: X0 `& u" F1 k Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
, u$ X2 g7 p9 X" z% K& e Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
