The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

- D( ~$ M: g# T9 OThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.# l+ z+ A1 [; B' b* T

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits0 f2 R, r6 D2 x* O
• Input and manage high volume of data3 |$ e6 ~) ?& \$ Y# D+ z
• Update and maintain databases
. m+ v3 u9 v4 G" C" N; n# b4 d• Generate monthly reports and statistics
) h$ F; K! q% Y3 m& D3 a: x• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
( N7 {: Q$ w% N s* @7 ^* Y) v- n• Process payments and complete weekly deposits

• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors2 m. G9 B" L: K& q5 h
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre) o* `$ p& a/ A% |) z- _0 x
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients I3 N' q$ F0 f' t4 A) _

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure$ U. b& L5 s" P# d% G% ~7 J7 a1 l
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 8 k3 V5 D2 w3 \/ Y3 l) i
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
( F8 M1 ]/ k Q r+ L' ]• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work$ p+ \) f' k" @( H
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities. @1 B8 T' F( s# y7 s
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
