The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 5 M* R& k U5 E: r/ X( `- b

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
8 X q8 @' J# g9 e' L• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:6 t/ ` Q/ v/ l! q4 t
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
- _7 g# C' a0 L. A, ~; h• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits: j$ d( J1 ?1 \$ Y% _
• Input and manage high volume of data. `& m! X3 ?% g( D+ Y8 b
• Update and maintain databases. G, M6 J: H g: b: F4 H
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
) W. G1 ?- G* z/ I4 M5 w• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
6 T, h4 l% v9 k0 X$ X! n h" M• Process payments and complete weekly deposits) h* W* s" M4 H# G, A
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
8 P0 k$ U2 k4 ^) q• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
7 X5 k ?, c" v• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre: D, f, @( H! d
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients0 ]- e' S/ W# q0 x7 J5 w( r

Qualifications:# H. B; S$ _3 c

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure0 b2 Y* ]/ \4 ], U
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
- ~4 U; q) r: y1 e: o• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
; W! k% Y' {6 k% O- G" u4 u! Y• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work1 {2 L) @/ K( o
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
