The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

& ?5 S6 V5 {% v, q0 e4 vThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

' w5 E& ]) s2 y: m$ `1 D, H• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required0 `6 z3 p) L' O1 `* K8 i! B1 g3 e
• Answer multi line telephone system: E( }6 [; p8 i9 H3 K1 j2 \
" H" q7 N" l+ Y( U$ U' M/ pAdministration:
: b0 J7 D+ p+ e/ @# F• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads4 M |% G+ o9 t" J, S# [, ~; M5 i
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits/ P; r. O/ N- q) K$ q2 C
• Input and manage high volume of data4 u+ B7 H% c7 I `
• Update and maintain databases% Y" }! h. x9 U& b% x7 y" w- H' h5 g
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
8 z$ x3 ~: f. R/ Z8 ~' p" \• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
' r8 r! F6 k; g F" W& z# J• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
! j. S+ i4 j# ^6 N• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
1 W8 u/ ]1 \# ~* c, x7 O M5 z2 m• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

, a# X/ m: r+ d% z5 Z3 n• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

' L! @6 p) |* ?0 k• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure8 v7 |6 x6 W& t' \
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
