The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. : s+ W* o; |- @/ w1 z) C, m6 \
; J# Q' O4 a; NThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.! V A* z! |. P+ Z o* O& @! O

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required7 E. Y. e! M. t/ D. @: |7 J/ o+ O! Z
• Answer multi line telephone system: h# U& g% |, {

Administration:
8 \( o- N; I2 \) p( q8 T7 j: R• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
$ y" D, @( x! g4 Q% l% r. R• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
9 T2 z; Z. Y6 x1 V. N• Input and manage high volume of data
' K5 S( W$ T# M) r• Update and maintain databases
7 h6 i+ d9 S3 S' v7 {6 ^• Generate monthly reports and statistics
8 k- D- L' h7 X8 e8 G• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation) H4 T& \* l4 z V$ K+ ^# k8 K
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
; M' _5 H% C1 Y9 s3 M- Z• Write and revise business correspondence and forms0 W1 p2 b) G) ]8 T$ l3 W9 p* |
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients5 o3 B, M8 t1 @& v

/ [5 r! E& b3 `6 A4 @/ `$ W: Y" c4 _0 D6 K. n7 p8 P& i2 m
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
' A2 {, m/ |$ l5 G1 V2 |# M• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
5 s+ R4 l8 u0 a• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9 l' q9 k+ Z. `" Y• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work: {: z4 I' x i2 n. Q- r1 A
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population; n( E2 b* b6 N4 {! E
• Strong customer service skills: h' P) w% x& P! U; Z
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
