The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
/ ]4 O& e9 n) T+ G; {1 |• Answer multi line telephone system' f, ~! S' @) y- `0 q* Z& q) S
# V; h; t# f6 m0 g2 f3 S; U
Administration: C* p% D- a/ G. f6 B4 n
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
8 F8 y% b* K0 Q+ }9 w$ F• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
4 @3 L0 _# J* T7 O• Input and manage high volume of data% H/ F/ h. y5 s5 H! y* O6 {1 A
• Update and maintain databases
4 R6 @% `7 |* B/ H" B, W• Generate monthly reports and statistics7 z. _' Q, h/ l& j( [) s
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
- w2 y3 F, a8 g1 E• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
3 n$ _8 C& f3 Z• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
6 W8 W h. c% O0 `- D• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
% w: u/ | Y+ v/ l/ g5 n: _• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
# N7 B4 l: c5 K: T! D! H• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

: K6 w( e. G2 ]9 u9 q• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure8 o K+ ?8 I6 x# n: E
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
9 w9 p/ E/ }+ r+ y4 H4 t$ Y• Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ R; p" R1 i4 k& N
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
5 \- Z5 {% h- L• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
