The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

+ |# j- C& T- r; Y" }. X* TThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:& V* T, X3 D( I/ F4 Z3 V9 n- X
•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required3 [: K5 p; a: W8 c
•        Answer multi line telephone system1 M% }: X/ h/ n2 H" g- }

Administration:
5 m# f: I3 f5 @3 ~. d! v•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads3 T2 c5 [* i3 K5 x; g, e6 K6 @+ s
•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
+ e$ @# T  j$ ~0 a0 c•        Input and manage high volume of data
7 A9 o- ]7 l6 U4 l" `•        Update and maintain databases$ ]$ z( E- X2 {  v: q5 _2 [
•        Generate monthly reports and statistics
1 a  f2 z1 F  f8 C5 X% w6 O•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation) I0 w. N7 J) K  u* r
•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits
- q. _6 {( Q  f7 o6 `2 H•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms/ R1 c8 ~0 B5 G$ w  w4 i2 ~9 q
•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors: M  J8 [( `8 w# X5 X: b% s
•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
6 j- x8 u& o1 I  Q- ~' x& [•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
; N+ i: g2 m- _4 Z; t% ~0 x8 j) C: \% o: Z0 \+ I
•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
; j! z7 o% c3 N- s2 E•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
( Y: a4 F& f! Q9 L) v$ g, D2 }•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
! P! s5 Q4 \% R- \) _. `3 R3 [•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work& @* c" |3 j# H7 @
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population1 l1 r% b; ^" Y) ~- o
•        Strong customer service skills
- e# R' `9 m* ~+ Z' i•        Strong organizational skills and abilities- W+ a/ c4 d$ A: v
•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset$ r+ N' ]# h& \$ l
