Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

- D( _1 k$ l* z, n- M" }9 t9 |( [2 ]: ]" lWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
) F  \# N' h  l! V! m* f; G/ uReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
& ?4 B3 @5 N/ {Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications

Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
: O3 Q4 i; h5 M- v; iMinimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
& H9 K0 p8 e' ]% \- s1 ?Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
3 B$ h2 x0 o: z, H) NUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
- S3 n5 R' p8 y" P8 D0 uUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
/ f9 Y/ q$ T: ^# `3 Z+ ~Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
. F- L, t9 }7 H' w0 WAbility to communicate with all levels of management
7 b0 P# N, M& x$ P6 ^4 i5 {Ability to work independently as well as in a team
