5 r% E! n& n' u7 W2 ~3 x' ?• Process research equipment design;8 T) O6 o% f1 `7 u& x" u
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;' d2 M7 P( Z3 M8 u& I" x5 P7 V+ s \
• Equipment fabrication guidance;) ]7 x# e7 B5 R
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
& g+ F6 M. q2 c9 |( @( s; A• Others.; q2 ^* t. a. ], r/ l/ W" x
& i6 m* O) X" _Qualifications:
, r8 ~9 ?: F: o• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
! O& _ H, P7 R! _* a7 E' j• Equipment design experience is required;
^. R* {' i+ `1 j• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;7 l; d5 m9 T( g" O; Q' s
• Familiar with CAD software;
% c/ P* B3 j6 Q• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;, t+ b$ L% y+ W- H2 W, ] P2 t: [
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
: E9 l( o; N+ h! \" NSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. ; [: G- Q0 S5 D7 ?- z/ e
