! Z+ ~5 j' c) z1 ?- D0 @•        Process research equipment design;
$ E' O* \" p3 B# H. h* u•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
" T  Y2 S/ D/ x; Z7 ~" [•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
; c, o0 M$ ^) y8 m5 q: o6 Z1 L•        Others.

/ |9 v* g" u1 ?Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
3 j8 Z9 {6 @+ @& M$ T•        Equipment design experience is required;
) ?% D$ W* }9 a* U2 \  u$ T6 ?, X•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
- u3 k6 ^; T2 N( z3 M•        Familiar with CAD software;
4 q! }. ^3 N: |; i0 @! {•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
