Major Responsibilities:

, M( y+ T! _ c2 w3 s! m- W• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;5 C* K" s# t# [/ n+ Q" U# ]! L
• Equipment fabrication guidance;5 Y z7 V0 P5 i: Y, Y a2 D' k! W4 t$ a
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;/ P+ p! Z$ n. w5 }4 b
• Others.

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. . m( V- W5 z( T8 }- n% |
• Equipment design experience is required;
: I( f- `$ E) p* P• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
: o/ @- q- @" O+ u/ X2 E. a• Familiar with CAD software;& _) G& H, r4 g
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
6 t# F0 l" h: _* [" ?• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 8 O$ m+ u. H5 }; f8 b8 J' c
