) n  ?2 B+ X: l Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
. E, }0 X. I" b" u# a6 h Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
# K! S' c! w+ T* I* m Completing required paperwork.
$ m+ ~" H3 p) f5 F  X! k Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
5 X' T6 u5 n" D$ w7 ^1 W1 S* T: y Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
( {2 w6 R4 q: A Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

+ a+ }# X/ b6 F Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.

Position:
* C7 M$ h. m, M. n/ u" Y! ^* U- }. WThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
, T, t6 U2 l8 D/ ?3 i+ nstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
