, {- r7 ~5 Q9 K' v" F3 W Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
5 V  F" g7 D, J Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

# r: w5 I. N  R1 C5 m
2 F6 ]' }) w" e, Y! O Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
- m" C7 E' J3 }' m Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
5 Y$ m/ m# r; s6 U% H( F! ] Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
: X1 K# q5 V% n8 M# F3 n, K Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

1 \2 Z& r1 }5 B4 y2 p* m7 W$ BThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
4 v* S* c! _! S% j* v, U5 Lstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
