Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
. b" u/ \# _/ s8 s( Zment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
9 ]6 S7 v: d6 v9 bŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
: v# I- D# h# f( Uthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
% i" U9 C8 O6 c  R1 _2 wŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
6 }. b5 {1 I% H- x- A6 e) h0 U* _support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
" o* J+ b' q, s& G4 }5 H* V+ p; N- dimplementing staff wellness programs;
" D# Z% W. K: C6 J) |Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

. i$ Z* g& s" A" h$ z  h' RŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
4 `  t9 g9 p) P9 o' V3 E+ Deducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
  d5 \6 j! {& K4 @' p- a$ IŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both

5 @- v6 x4 W) e" u. B! jLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
, ^# \+ C( ^5 ]; b0 V% esuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
