Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
8 h) S3 _8 V* q+ k  JManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
1 M0 Z% I; _2 m- HŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
2 B7 |' w# B$ `3 F& SŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
3 U0 W( t+ ]8 e, E$ ]8 d) JŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
# ~5 m, t/ g8 K9 esupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
8 [+ i$ z& N( s1 }implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
6 ?  n9 B1 x  N/ ?Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
3 d& _8 ^, C! v6 b' ~Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
* ]* c0 k# f4 l, ?. W$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
