Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
8 u% N5 F: w  w5 _/ jManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 |  U4 U. ?6 kŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
5 `/ [- g8 Y# _0 ~/ U% c$ j, Q4 Z+ dthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
3 y) I) r" B' L& N0 I5 vŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
& ^) x3 H3 O3 R/ i4 \0 K$ ]implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
, O* N6 L: I8 l, v7 _Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
& F& M: J, M4 G' o  t# BŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
8 D+ }  a: B7 `% ?Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
7 M3 F' v% U9 U& Y# ?Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
+ q* r5 w: `9 p9 I; p  U$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
$ D9 i7 G- c/ ]In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
