Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
& X9 \0 Z9 Z! [/ [2 `. Zment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
5 `$ Y* E2 `! O" P1 v# L7 sŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
2 m( S1 j1 W  k% G: |1 ysupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
* h, G/ w9 c# ~/ |3 U5 `1 x9 kŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
, F' [' s# \1 K5 R$ o( N1 NŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
7 c" g8 e7 n7 Y; Y2 @6 Q2 d9 `Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
. {. m4 C& C3 Z1 deducation and experience;
$ }+ {# ^" D; u) c: tŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
% k7 P5 J  Q6 F/ I# V" IŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
* w1 M9 c5 p1 h& u/ _4 IŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
7 H! m% w, I1 ~2 q2 W% j3 GLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
: \' N- c; N/ [$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
