Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
: V: P# E) e' T- E8 W( s& `Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* e# R; H6 i- q& h6 W3 a! jment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
8 b: k! e8 T' _/ dŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
; ~# z! {) v/ G3 V( J/ {) WŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
( S* i' H. [5 f: a; b- Jimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 H8 I. X5 ^* V& X) YŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

. T6 j% t1 ^: x% _  NŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
0 {6 V/ G! n; [8 s% J. UŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
8 K- u8 O6 j% O! n1 Y# yŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
4 A+ w  M' H/ h" ?$ c' dŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
7 ~+ j5 f0 D- V  ~; gverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
