Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
  B7 w% `! [! |  z0 Z& OManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
+ C/ O# J# v3 s2 `: R8 CThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
) p) }" a* z, C/ j( g6 O* {# kŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
) k2 v' m' t/ X. \, W( B! bthe organization;
9 R3 V# n" h; {( }! o! T  kŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
3 v" n3 F/ q  m, d6 F4 jŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
6 x" V3 p/ I# w8 y4 Y. kŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
: r  O7 i9 h+ W/ ^2 q! UŸ Other duties as required.
) {* F4 w" w3 x5 o' p& k6 V; KQualifications:
1 v$ T4 E% A! uŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
& r5 t* I( D. ?. I* U* \( ieducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
& b# s9 x. u- cŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
3 I( }* e$ E" y  v. B' qverbal and written.
; @0 V! x: x; d+ f* R& L9 HLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
/ j6 Y& S3 c4 ?) {' [; H, V  `$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
' f1 m) \5 `9 w- @successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
