This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
. Y) d' y8 M& `/ `9 X, {% @Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
, \" f( }& m- D0 T9 W! m7 BAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
6 U7 {" l# Q% u+ O* Z7 v4 ]% p7 nB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
4 Y3 v; E- W5 R: G0 j7 ]5 D2 `Several years related experience in a similar environment
, E. B1 S' M' L. d3 XKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
