我在国内上大学、研究生学的是化工机械专业，毕业了在中石化的一家炼油厂做了7年检维修，之后到上海做了2年。来加拿大一年半了，现在在一家铝焊丝生产厂做机器操作工。很想找回自己原来的行当，做项目工程师。Fort Mcmurray有很好的机会，怎么才能够找到一份入行的工作呐？

我电话面试的OPTI Canada，还没有消息。原来说的是2周内会告诉结果。到2005年11月24日就是两周。电话面试完了，我写了Thank-you letter的E-mail跟进，结果还在等待中。

( Y' ?4 ]6 g8 h: A& o! L7 F6 w另外就是有中介的一个机会，需要明天先打电话联系。

The requirement of a project engineer is not as much as that of a project manager. I am applying to a project engineer. And just got a  negative answer as follows.

+ Z- R8 ?( S) O; `Even the project engineer needs to talk a lot if it working location is in the field. If the position only deals with the project design, not the on-site construction, maybe there is less requirement of communication.

! W* |1 T- E4 F- q! wReading a book Winning Cover Letter reminds me that a good cover letter is as important or more important than the resume.

2004年6月9日来加拿大。

在多伦多downtown住过9个月的地下室。

) O8 p3 b7 ?. F! i. p/ \7 f在Mississauga找到上一份工作后，搬到Mississauga。一家人和别人分租公寓，一年多。

现在是自己一家人住着这个2室一厅的Apartment。是我从出生以来，所住过的最好的房子。哈哈，我在中国混得也不怎么样。
& X0 d  u2 t7 l3 Q9 F. ]3 {
上一周刚买了一辆Toyota Echo，2000年的，20.4万公里。上任车主每天开高速往返Burlington与Mississauga。我们是第二个车主。买车都是太太在张罗，太太的功劳。

晚上聊起来，意外地发现，买车的日子刚好是我们来加拿大2周年的日子。
, P# V; r% Z: \- w' x
1 t8 |9 E1 F" M: P0 H想起几天前在网上看到该不该来加拿大的讨论，我觉得移民加拿大是一个过程，先苦后甜。性格决定命运，不管收入多少，喜欢先苦后甜的过程，就应该来加拿大。

谢谢版主一直以来的支持和鼓励。我不会轻言放弃，打好基础，最终一定会建起高屋大厦。
