Carla Christian Louboutin has been in New York for several weeks to oversee the opening, joined intermittently by other family members. The Christian Louboutins do everything as a family. The company is headed by Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla and Alda, the daughters of Adele and Edoardo Christian Louboutin, who founded a small fur and leather-goods shop in Rome in 1925. The decor of the new store's three selling floors is the Christian Louboutins' traditional parchment beige and black,christian louboutin, with fluted columns as reminders of the Eternal City and a central black staircase curving around a glass-enclosed ele-vator. Mannequins shaped like clothespins add a touch of whimsicality.
