寻求电脑高手指点....

我的电脑一直用mozilla firefox做浏览器，几天前不知道什么原因，当我打开firefox时候，弹出一个窗口，让我指定用户,我点default，结果，系统显示default正在使用，没办法（估计firefox在后台运行，但是，与windows兼容等问题，结果显示不出来），我就另外给了一个用户(也许不叫用户)default user,结果，我顺利进入firefox浏览器，一切工作正常，直到今天我突然发现，我以前保存的所有收藏夹等重要内容，都已经不复存在，好像目前用的firefox是另一个全新设置下的firefox而且只要一打开firefox就是这个设置，
请问：

如何找回我原来用的firefox?那位高手知道firefox开始的设定在哪里吗？

试过你说的目录看过favourite文件夹，里面只保存IE下的几个网页，没有firefox收藏夹的任何东西。

请问；如何找回/改变回FIREFOX缺省DEFAULT原来的设置(现在是在我定义的default user下的设置)？多谢高手！

还有，你说的两种方法都不好用，我查过document and setting 下的所有目录，没有（第1种方法）。
用search过整个硬盘，没有。（第二种方法）

还有，你只要告诉我,怎么进入firefox设置文件，或者设置窗口（就是当初我见到的那个）就可以了。多谢！实在不行，我在装你说的那个软件,让你远程看看。

把这个bookmarks.html存到C:\Documents and Settings\your new user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\******.default\下（会覆盖
原来的文件，最好先备份一下）。

多谢，我找到了旧user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\******.default\bookmarks.html，但是在新user name\Application Data下只有microsoft目录，没有mozilla目录，下面只有IE目录和system certificate目录，还是不行呀，怎么办？

打开你的firefox，加一个有特征的网址到bookmark，比如www.ctv.com

然后到C:\Documents and Settings下搜索www.ctv.com，记得search
by "a word or phrase"。你就能找到新的bookmark在哪儿了。

谢谢，我先search这个硬盘，看看ctv在哪里，如果整个硬盘没有，说明这个方法不行，还可能有别的高招吗？要是能知道怎么进入firefox浏览器的设置就好了，我相信现在有两个用户:default和default user，我目前缺省在后者下运行，关键不知道怎么能进入几天前的那个设置窗口。。。。唉。关键有几个收藏命名时候，我用了口令等帮助记忆，现在找不到了。

不是搜文件名，是搜文件内容。你没搞错把。

没错，我用的就是by word or phrase,不是file name搜索的。现在在搜索整个硬盘，时间会很长。如果能知道怎么进入firefox设置就好了。

所以说需要高手嘛。。。而且我只搜索的ctv不是www.ctv.ca的全名，目前搜索到的文件都不是在documents and settings目录下，似乎都不像。

你应该搞个更怪异的网址，绝对不会重名的那种，比如www.canadiantire.ca
搜canadiantire的话，一般不会有别的文件偶然有这个单词。

多谢了，已经搞定，搜索的方法不行，整个硬盘下搜索到的文件没有在documents and settings下的，不过，最后，我还在documents and settings找到了两个bookmarks.html.我把旧的覆盖新的，搞定了，不过，目前好像有两个用户，我删除一个可以吗？比如，删除目前的default user,重新启动是否可以，我不喜欢两个用户。。。

这个firefox account与windows不同，上午的时候去看过，一切正常，只有一个用户。所以，无法删除。下午在恢复旧设置前，我曾经删除过后产生的用户default use目录（在documents and settings下）r,但没有重新启动电脑，结果仍然是新设置，似乎删除目录不起作用。

1.换别的浏览器，IE或者Opera

2.卸载firefox，再重新装一遍（记得备份bookmark）

PS:我从来不在windows上用firefox，就装了一个给你找bookmark，所以
细节的东西我也不清楚。在Linux下用firefox好像没这么多问题。
