1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service # S3 P, P, E9 ?, h+ {1 d
is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between, z, T) |- O6 X8 }+ }7 B* j
7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
; C/ t$ c; H2 K% H4 q; G You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight$ @2 n/ }5 q* }. x$ r
on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
# ^$ O% t. S! {( }4 c2 V) `2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your% c& O# g! m# ^! e5 F$ n
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park3 s4 d0 t- H2 R0 ?
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

due when you make your reservation.
5 Z" t9 W3 T5 f- E" u. p4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
4 G1 B: {2 g; P+ X' Y2 Z" @" K1 u national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon- V- j- ?" F0 N
arrival at the park.
J. Y# ?5 X. k! t5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of. q ]1 Q0 I ~/ G0 j, H v' i; m; H
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as/ Y; b7 Y! m1 |' q2 @
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same

6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on1 l. _) l* i, q% r( s8 E
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of9 r# i; n- G4 ]- M, B: b/ I! a
campsite; and the service type. & y; J& P0 d# T" \
7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
2 M6 W5 w S# @: W% y* k# H1 }( z confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.

money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of9 B; e- C; t7 x
payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations

least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received \' H4 B1 ~9 D. p2 k4 e
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.( \2 w8 N/ d1 a9 {8 K( G0 Y
, s6 l" u2 W; }. ^6 K% x We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your

& b" k( e9 b T It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to3 W7 y; f- `4 |- Q* d. N4 j
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you: z! r, P$ W2 w3 h& v c) c

For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)+ x# j! m# |$ _, g* u. s# J
on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within4 I0 i8 C' E" h' ~$ M% h
the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. Changes can be made online& }, K" Y" C9 J- f
or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.
8 i' v: R) k) n! V" i' d$ y' B12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
2 m$ A% _) d+ _ P) Z4 b& s will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you4 D3 s: h& S0 s6 G
check-in to the campground, subject to the following:+ G/ m, }' Z* F! c1 }! ?! J: u. t
- If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,+ h: K1 ]7 @( I r" {2 I
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
5 Z& _; I( g! J" c* v+ |& ^ reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,2 ^0 [, U+ g9 ~) ?& o6 w
you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.9 `: q$ ~! c J0 w: a- `
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before0 o4 q$ e: f9 }' m% @
11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night# ~' k5 h* s" Q+ D$ t2 A) |- ~9 a
of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to
# s8 ]% A. E* j: ~* c$ ]7 o your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be
! _* k, H/ p& F9 _" N guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change6 L! B; |) t0 c9 E/ H a1 L4 `
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
1 L/ H m/ @+ s9 H8 ]5 a services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
1 U& N' y: a$ f7 q2 Q3 _# u change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited./ ?2 }* z: X5 W7 e" y! r; D+ _9 \2 t
14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
% A! y- E9 l" y- ]0 |7 m3 s earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground! t( @9 t6 w1 ~' F7 P; P/ j
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee2 X) i3 N7 ]( J6 `
will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please8 G/ w1 v! o8 x5 \
notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the

on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact
! V0 K8 ?' p! {: J. ?7 ^ the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,
; _1 q9 A; E# m$ i call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).: H6 Y# f! W; q4 L. M- ^) E
16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:( [" U( _ W6 i5 ]1 c; O
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your( m% `, ^7 X, x1 s: q/ m) C& Y
expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two4 k+ `$ ^" H$ F$ O
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
9 \1 Z" P h& i" g% w" d' v+ ^( L6 G policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your
b% c+ w7 b. Q scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of2 X) U a! {+ u2 a
your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."
0 u+ ]% X# ]9 e8 W; ~: h- V1 l# O6 U. }" R
When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite. b* { L6 M; q9 c
will be made available to other campers.: N% O( }8 Q8 M. A0 D) U5 w; \2 i

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
% n9 v3 q' m( k/ s7 C paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,* z* N& a/ S' X2 t7 t
reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days

Closures
