SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
4 {% _" Y8 C3 Y7 }# ~operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
2 o" D8 y, c8 u% Uthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
0 h0 k) C  `" q; b* Lcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.

Customer Service
9 L+ Y0 s2 Z2 b# X5 {# A* n1 N• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
+ e/ R8 \- d9 x8 F7 t+ qstock
" i& ?: q) i  I# ]6 D. G• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
& q; H. R' ]1 D4 Z' P! JStore Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
3 F: x4 U+ d$ G• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
( T  l/ ?' ^: W4 r# I5 s- @• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
" V- a9 s* N; o4 }% w• Protect company assets at all times
6 ~! T5 z: @* ~# ?• Close the store (key holders)
* ?1 G5 F% D, N, \• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
0 ?) M1 B: \5 D, n1 V2 R• High School graduate
( f" V4 Q1 \% I& x: @6 ~* l# B• Criminal record check.
/ |2 |# ~0 ~7 H• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
0 c6 i( a* q1 l5 c# E. }' Y• Good problem solving skills
; k* y4 f6 t) m( f' {' j1 }• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Fast paced environment

2 z$ _: v8 h1 {# s1 l• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
; R8 L$ _# F0 T  t& H! ?6 @# t, Q• Comfortable climbing ladders
