Job Purpose
# V4 W% D5 S5 y3 t) {Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
& {" |0 U. W+ Othe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
/ v  n( U) Y" i% z$ zCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
9 }3 ?( _/ _0 J, N) L! j! ?' X- c6 |• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
& A- p5 m" [( B5 J) F7 wstock
3 {& ]1 Q3 X: i, Q• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
2 i( E) T; x" W* U2 z6 [) ?Store Responsibilities
9 ?1 M9 O: E3 |0 B3 j! G• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
0 a7 ]: {, c; U• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
9 }  l1 n! k7 r- z6 m5 O& N0 P4 x• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
2 ^0 p& b4 [2 l4 f% A" _' d3 v• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
+ C9 @8 K! U1 e4 X0 ~• Close the store (key holders)
" L: r- a' t. ^6 a/ @• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
6 K$ X- I  Y1 g0 |* H9 _: @• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
9 O: }" C( ?/ B' }8 schanges in strategies
  N; g1 r- q0 X' i/ QWorking Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
% g3 K4 B1 G2 K' ]* U4 LPhysical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
( D& \+ L5 M2 w: i• Standing for extended periods of time
8 T9 y  g$ }3 v" ?4 O. W9 W* G• Comfortable climbing ladders
