8 f( O0 _6 _9 S% S0 O. l1 K, uEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
; R0 r2 |; p/ k- ooperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
, A* p+ P$ T2 Q2 i5 qthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
+ d# K2 W( {8 R; g" b/ Y  kthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
4 e3 B2 K1 l, xCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
( d) E4 v! k$ y' }2 |3 x• Assist customers find what they are looking for
; f4 L: ^3 c1 Z4 j! V* A) n• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
5 q  X! x$ K1 H7 v+ O3 o• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who

3 k7 _, {# l% q& {3 ^• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
4 ?0 \) ]& o; v• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
8 u0 _, r4 e  B3 O  _0 Z. K' y% \• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
' @6 V% `6 H0 T• Protect company assets at all times
4 l2 L. m. f: b$ m% |• Close the store (key holders)

' L( _" E1 H- s: R% S• High School graduate
5 f1 c! c5 n4 d# V+ s& G2 F• Criminal record check.

• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
