Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

( x1 k1 M" d8 s; D- j Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

/ i- g7 k* X) h4 mLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

, Y- d7 y9 _" t2 y% }% \Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
9 G" S; D6 ]0 N; H9 DManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

; {9 K4 w6 U( n* E% _Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

: p2 k0 h4 E/ n+ f) ~) uSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Qualifications  
1 E1 R2 |% q, Q0 _ Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
9 F! l' B8 G6 G" D: a
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;
+ G; W! l9 T) ?! Z
" P2 ^% W' |! J' ]Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
# l0 F; c3 Y7 h2 o
Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

3 P3 F0 D6 \  m5 D0 k6 OStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;
