" ?- D  I* y2 F, e, IReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

8 e# j6 j$ c% @KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
/ R& B' r& X. B. b* Y+ v/ c; P7 s5 a        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
2 X9 K+ R- ~! l# P        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
! k- Q( G; e/ B5 g& Q% H% I2 T$ l" M•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
2 k) I; T* |5 c2 O9 S' j# Z•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
6 ]3 L. P, n3 O•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
0 `+ g( q8 l4 ]% n# Y/ M$ z•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
3 C5 g5 T: T: x9 A; `# ?, J/ O•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
