Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
7 f$ f! S' J* A+ H; ?2 k2 q) T        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
& M, X2 H& ~8 o5 r% |# o        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
" b6 o$ Z8 E: W( m+ d& k0 L•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
1 a$ q1 c2 ~* R: N; ?1 t- U3 V•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
% S: h$ U/ h2 P  F) \* n% d•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
$ y) P, X8 X9 ^3 X2 m0 B•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
