* K& [# {2 ^( V1 C0 KReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
: C, J" q3 h9 ^2 @$ e1 B        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
$ c7 r8 k) m/ A5 W: f$ [        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

/ W8 U# }) R# r, d# xQUALIFICATIONS:
8 M9 f' y; r! q  q' ^* H: B•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
* {% |5 h" g( s3 U" `' W% e1 z: o•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
8 x: S# N7 `: ^4 z" \3 u9 P•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
5 J; m2 D8 [2 l7 n( W% n7 b/ l4 n•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
: B! [* J* C% f& {3 U. J) Z5 N•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
