Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

- N# \/ h* Y" z" wKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
; i6 t0 T3 p5 d" k  y& m4 F) w0 R        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
/ Q* I% V! w  c4 Y0 {9 T' P        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
- N2 X& d5 p7 R- w0 v% d        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
# o1 D% c* S: I! H•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
# Z6 }, c9 i6 F( y/ a6 U•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
" y4 D' N% A  e7 z•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
+ g' P9 D; z/ ^( j3 K( Y) ?•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
, x  Z$ b$ S+ U8 t9 _1 K: \; p•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
. g9 Y8 K0 ^8 g: B) t•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
