The Pipeline Integrity department is looking for a Senior Engineer to provide engineering analysis and expertise to support crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of programs, with a strong focus on inline inspection programs that identify, monitor, and mitigate these pipeline threats.

The primary responsibilities are to:

-Develop of crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs, including selection of features, development of associated trending, and determination of reinspection intervals.

-Provide technical expertise related to fitness for purpose calculations and field NDE as related to crack and mechanical damage threats.

  b6 C3 c7 Q$ h  @, g+ sServe as an internal technical expert on fitness for purpose assessments.

! ?. l8 [4 Q/ H6 A1 i6 ]Ensure that all standards and procedures related to crack management programs and mechanical damage programs are up to date and available to all users.

( ?6 g) Y7 k/ S; C4 AMaintain leading edge expertise related to pipeline crack threat through ongoing review of industry publications, attending appropriate training and industry conferences.

Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience. Or a masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
! C2 L& f4 `0 A# b6 ~* a
Requires exceptional communication and report writing skills.

8 }$ V6 j% W7 @Self-motivated, independent, innovative, responsible and a team player.
% H  d7 l3 p" D9 m6 @( k% r4 L
Excellent functional knowledge of computer applications applicable to the Pipeline Industry.
% f! w! Y- W! q* e: }7 Z  ^
Project management experience and the ability to work within a large organization.

A broad based, solid understanding of the business of pipelines is important.
