Primary Focus  
Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

1 l/ s9 K* m/ a8 uResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

; X# F2 K/ `4 MResponsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

5 o& U1 y; @! C' u: {7 \2 HAchieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

' u( \) s" R1 QManaging critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

8 C. u8 ^' [, Y1 u' QPerforming site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

8 M* T; g: ?3 V, y( t$ k6 \Engaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

7 Z0 k! q( S: t- WIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.  
: K8 ]7 k/ r) v# {. U. S Qualifications  
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.

10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.

4 A' I9 x, @$ q9 \5+ years AutoCAD experience.
# e  L5 Y/ W. V( l' a: |' q2 [
1 W2 h$ Q& z' Q8 Q. _2 J) MRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
