The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers3 T4 y. x6 Y+ K
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
W V' h4 G/ H' u/ z$ }! i' j% P§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation1 y$ ^+ @( `, m4 x3 E. W# X
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times% b9 @5 H" v j# O/ x/ f
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk9 f. W( E- F/ L ^3 R) P: i
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). ; Z2 E; u5 ^) N& w' m

§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to
! @2 H" f4 n5 N§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
# _7 \: B6 a( j( `3 T& w. y§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access8 p3 M* Y8 y1 u D2 v

§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
