Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
( I! ^) b7 ]' N; p6 }The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
2 x4 _2 }7 E/ c2 K( D! wThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
2 Q+ Z9 a# I3 l( u0 B* x! e4 aAfter convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

7 V. a6 r! [0 F4 g, o( f) h' a" t) FOfficial gas mileage is  MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29
