- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications8 Y4 }8 F4 D1 M2 q" a8 l2 t
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects c1 n8 K0 r, ]3 W2 X3 |
- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects
$ {: o4 x5 M; c% K- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
/ V c: x, d. N( G- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects2 i* H* u. c3 p, X) J; N
- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices9 v& F ? {" T
- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating" A( M% p( t8 g. e; H9 d$ ^% O
- Tend ovens which cure metal coating
