CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday.% K. P# o+ n2 }( u

No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said./ K+ O( K- d3 X5 P9 H* ?, d* Q# v

The energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.3 L9 [5 D) G- `5 N# @
1 P! a% J% O! M& C( @5 {Suncor has been plagued by a series fires at its oilsands operations in the past five months, suffering three fires since October in the upgraders which convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil.6 l( y) n9 f# T8 {0 a# Y
