Responsibilities:
# p0 N9 G' Q& d/ U- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
; O5 f( Z! p* u( ]- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling B5 P8 T" P3 Q3 ?% j& {, u
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups" G, {4 J6 j9 c, B3 d
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
% p7 I( H1 Z5 l* h; b- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences9 u7 n# s2 G8 o2 s/ Z
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement7 t: J @; |3 n/ L* K1 F' X
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
" o0 J+ | |) W& P7 Y7 Z: t- Experience doing program development$ M. L5 [7 \' V9 u) w
- Strong organizational and coordination skills; f' @: Q0 S$ N" G6 v# [ a
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
% }: v8 P7 D4 X4 _, V4 `1 R8 g, V- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset1 @& g8 G. U) h# `
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license; |( v! X! ~& m$ m7 R

- Skills in marketing & promotions
