16 teams join our tournament last year. So 16*50=$800 in total is expected.

g) Do independents get paired up with other independents or, how does that work? What happens if there isn't enough or there's a number that doesn't work out etc.

All independent players will be in a playing pool. And we will select a captain and then captain will select their players from the pool. If not enough players, we can pick up players from other team.& S$ b/ U5 h- x$ e5 K1 F
3 M6 s1 w$ h& ]& l8 s6 m* g0 O) MFormat: Format: single elimination till top 3. If you lose you game in the first round, you can buy in for a second life.
