Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
, ~9 W  b/ c3 r1 c7 O( u• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
% T8 D; N; v/ C" \5 y• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
5 K$ j6 N8 O$ F" J3 o3 V• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
. i) I% a$ r+ A! i5 q$ G, k• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

2 Z8 P6 d# Q8 g1 T8 g2 o; J• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
5 \! Q% y1 b( K• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
8 m% X* X$ {. D4 t2 r6 r6 f• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

+ p8 ?) A# a8 X, u1 U( t6 d• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
0 x( Y. E9 y4 b$ ?• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
# D( ^: U* U: V% p' s% y+ _6 I• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
