Job Duties / Responsibilities
# e% p3 X% @8 d( fThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
+ _. e- y) s0 g/ W' H& a0 d• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
( c( _1 k9 d6 R9 y• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
( Z1 ^/ q$ m7 M$ e# g0 m4 Z0 h• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
; K$ L1 V; P9 X4 V• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
8 t* O; C$ _; |/ Z* s) ?• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
  x- H' l4 ^4 y$ G" c• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
! d+ y! x5 w1 Y4 p• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
