. Z6 @# {) C5 oEMCN works with a multi-cultural community to provide support to youth (ages 9 – 27) through mentorship, recreation and education.

- G) f: r3 Q2 D" o, g8 @; EResponsibilities: build relationships with existing immigrant/refugee youth and their community; provide workshops or work with other agencies to provide workshops on racism, bullying, conflict resolution, leadership, public speaking and others advocate for immigrant youth in the community; creatively plan, organize and evaluate small group activities; support Settlement Practitioners in Schools in their work with families and schools through mentoring, educational sessions and other capacity building activities; learn about EMCN and other programs, services and resources for youth and families for referral.

4 M' {# f) d3 XDesired Skills, education/experience: strong commitment to providing quality services working in an intercultural environment; ability to document and complete reports in an accurate manner; facilitation skills required; development and delivery of workshops; ability to prioritize duties ,ability to perform a variety of diverse tasks; proficiency in both official languages is an asset, as is fluency in languages other than English/French; experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet Usage; extensive evening and weekend work required.7 q0 t4 f z2 U2 s8 X/ A" `; Y

Education/Technical Skills: Post-secondary education, diploma or degree, preferably in Youth Development, Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, however work experience will be considered. A clean driving abstract and car is needed for this position.
