THE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:

6 X4 T1 I' C" ~: n8 U4 sThis fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
. [- q) a2 g( @/ ~8 h$ t) U, J•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
) D0 D3 V( j# l0 R. \9 U; L5 x•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
5 I3 I/ w- `2 c0 F•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
. {+ c- ~  }; q# E" W( A•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
5 X* B4 f& ], ^2 v•Be eligible to work in Canada
•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop
•Lack access to professional networks

Time Commitment
The maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
