Police Service Preparation Program

This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

! l* {' c4 S3 N. @Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
* \  v3 H: S0 M0 v1 y9 XPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

You must be/have:
. X0 O( n" L$ j• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
$ _+ S# V- V- Z* v; o2 c• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
* ^8 J* S7 d: x# w* h• Good health and physical condition
: H  s  q4 B! I8 a- c$ x# k• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
