+ X! W: @5 W+ j! ^Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.; J% W! ~  V. Q8 j' g1 {

& B8 z: G1 F0 _& t) uPosition Summary) |% ~( ^" s2 l& \( R* w

9 Y: l* Y* x' \4 y# R% @•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
  T& V; N8 V$ |" {% K•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings
: g; m1 g8 G" [4 \0 r5 ]•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach ' _) c# ?# Z8 M# l8 u
•        Promoting TBL products and services
+ r  d! A* e1 a- M•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance
/ [( V5 [8 W2 S" V! o$ H+ m0 @* U•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables
, w3 e2 A( ?; z6 q•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta
) |  \% ]$ n) {) ^4 D( J+ c•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry4 q* S5 m6 \4 v' Z6 s
•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program
/ h: y; D- V- E) x  d* P6 j: @•        Arranging catering for various meetings
4 }9 v4 G* t6 n2 ]3 |•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office
  A) g! Z5 G4 M4 e5 l•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times

. \- j7 M# P, N9 Y" v. U
( E( R9 [2 D  Q•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience
6 X; |8 m% A/ U4 W4 S8 m& F: ?•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
7 R- ?* c  |: Q9 M: Z* u; g•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.

        Strong work ethic

        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
; X1 d$ g2 n5 m+ b6 p5 X, m5 X: @        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions
# y2 E' |6 d+ w6 o8 s. Y6 Y        Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
