Job Description:

Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
9 Q6 I, R0 u4 s7 }) e# v0 FAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
% J/ L  Y, j5 G8 FOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
- K7 [* f% k" ~% m4 N  Z% _# k- NInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
* l# l4 h( h) d! |) oUnpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
6 E& b( v% P5 d, Q* _; [Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
8 \% D" j* k# nMay operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Completion of secondary school
