There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.- N/ l2 {9 { G! Z3 ?9 Y
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
6 U+ C7 k5 c- x6 K' NIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.( J: Q, h) @( A$ t1 X5 ?8 Y

0 Q( N! s# z: e' C; e+ u1 dThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).6 d/ n8 U! x6 d0 A& M6 Y( _
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.( _, P* E( G# d# z0 J' \
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
