There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.8 z7 m. s9 E! q* E
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
) P. k o! G' g) zIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

5 \7 q: h! M) l. b. kThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).& m2 L- R( J5 o0 N& _& E' y
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.3 o! t% ?8 j) D h4 w/ O) W2 m: ?: z
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.6 H1 ^( r* K, g9 C& p
