A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.! @( k1 R; l6 h2 i+ }* _

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors# r* E' I: Z$ o( K
• Answer multi line telephone system3 M. |* C* V/ P9 j1 U7 q6 h& L) |! W
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
4 r6 T" p$ a* r• Arrange courier services for all departments

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail5 D6 w$ Q4 h" d$ r% A0 v# V" e
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
5 Q- ^$ ]; O+ `1 f' X {& u• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency / q5 v2 S) [& K! @
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration# E0 _, w4 y6 l5 u% l+ u" `- K5 D
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
" h7 [* e2 B0 e• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
7 O9 |& g2 M9 W* G$ w• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments " v( }5 h! R3 x
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested, P/ U. w# V+ y' K7 R- p& f) j

Registrar

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required# s; `$ A4 W' C2 i+ C6 r0 l0 w

Qualifications:
; [& U4 q" g* A! a& h+ B% g8 y: y* Y% M
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
; {) S! W$ w& i9 d# W$ i4 I• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* b" I3 X& Y4 i8 _' P0 Z7 N+ s! d
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset" s1 C1 g% `, w0 h. j& R
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 3 [' T+ I( s2 F2 T
• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
