, K. `0 Y$ J9 T1 C7 u$ S5 ]: x5 r6 xBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

* v9 o8 M) K. i4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

& V5 q" M( B" T, S& H& n% cKey Responsibilities Include:
& w3 N; `  @5 s0 M0 s1 iActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
! H: ^- H% r* m/ h; c+ u•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
) [. v1 m# j( R•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
. r+ A7 f0 r1 b7 l* I0 ]•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
0 x4 N/ p  M* q7 j•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
3 F$ e8 m  g6 r5 X" b•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
