Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers).
# H o( ~1 r( y: t! e' S$ ]! sAdministration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
) y6 w, l H& U( R* n) gCandidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
' y; T6 }+ d9 w6 \9 J% \Maintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software. ' \7 C! h/ S$ b+ Z& h- m& W
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
' ^4 R! J; u3 w4 Y4 b: f) hWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
3 k' o( U/ u& v aEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. 4 w4 @3 @7 R8 z" G% y
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. 4 h( O B2 G! ?/ ^- X" ` u
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS: ! f: l( m$ d& r/ J; I# D3 ^
Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux
) e; X. O$ }9 U) f5 kStrong IBM SAN configurations experience " O, \6 p/ q2 _1 W( l
Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. ) n2 S, H, {) S+ X! p' x
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability. ( U0 e! Y/ O4 ?0 C' ?: Y) V* ?0 {
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with automatic tape library maintenance and operation.

Experience with Nagios or other system monitoring tools.
