Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
y' Y+ c) J/ Q8 p+ Z; LMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
, M' W, L$ s/ q, `2 ]& |Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. O9 d& B4 z$ ?, B: \% G* z' r
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
/ b$ ~9 B' d c( ?- l. ZEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes.
: U" w# y: o1 e1 }" G& J* k% J- kHelp implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.

Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux

Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. 8 a' V# I# F, u( R' X. F
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
