+ `) h, k& |9 v& H) sAdministration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. 3 b9 c6 b) H, R; Q& m/ f) E
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
) S+ ?* ~% i* i1 h- n* J. ?' U& hMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
$ K% X$ E3 \! s! h3 SMaintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. + z3 s. a' u C+ m
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. 2 b+ [6 p4 w' e1 _8 B6 Q
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. 5 r ~5 q* i8 `- f2 p5 _% v
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. * e: d' _$ T5 ~! h/ e! n. D
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS: 7 E- _( [$ Z: D" N E4 p: O
Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux
! L6 f8 J8 x' a B' VStrong IBM SAN configurations experience
4 M, }* l; I! V% b" DExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. % d9 Q, Y/ s2 d& {% d/ ]
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability. 9 `; O+ s0 y1 I- v4 q! I) E- F
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
