Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers). . m, L3 e$ r" u. B7 ]5 R
Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
( @- T# A+ w: {. t! c0 \0 v# @0 dCandidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
( z, H: d; b4 {* v- F, y5 WMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
+ q y$ q, x# s- ]Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
- q5 k7 n' o: WWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
# K4 T6 t- l b+ y9 MEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes.
+ S; r9 O8 {6 B& `+ l, p$ }* _6 JHelp implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. 8 ^( V; L. @ R" `
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS:
- ?% m+ d# O- ?* Z9 X- x' r) ?Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux + D; X% W" r4 m& c; f1 ^' }
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience . ?) F2 t" S# [( P
Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
9 ]0 n. f" L& TExperience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
