Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers). & Z) g* D/ u( _0 O. x
Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
$ U' V' H% x+ {, P4 G2 D: G9 WCandidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes. - q' w3 l! _2 Q' t9 h7 F4 E' c6 K
Maintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software. # e7 k* K% ]3 m; a0 K
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. + h9 ~! A" c; _/ P
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. ; p- e4 @! }, Z+ A
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. 1 e4 G+ T8 B1 |: [, r
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. 6 N2 Q* m) D* i, X* D

Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux

Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases. 6 e- A& U. C/ ~5 Z/ Z: t# ?) G0 F
Experience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
