Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers).
# b( M7 j+ Y. q* j4 Z2 hAdministration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
. E# x. w* P+ H) n* O1 vCandidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
b6 r( T0 |9 z6 G* l) rMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software. 3 X h* F5 f0 H( e" \
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
* h( v8 m& s: x# _; H4 AWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
& E6 }5 R l0 E h% G- Y( ` U8 HEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. ! j2 c0 k, I2 k+ W- z3 K
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.

Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux , e0 A, }: O) y. I" E, ]' t( @1 P
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience ' k7 S( W" N7 c
Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
