Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers).
+ q$ ] u7 v# Y/ \9 }/ `3 dAdministration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. 3 x. |5 I- R( D: k" @1 J
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
# _/ k9 a& r9 x, _1 tMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
2 \( R! M% L" I8 rMaintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter.
; ?0 U U5 ?4 D1 Z$ G7 w7 GWorking with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
5 v9 B% F& }8 I/ I5 HEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes.
, R0 \4 M7 R/ mHelp implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.

Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux 8 T7 J3 R: T; s8 a2 h, z
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience
% U' e7 O( @' c0 x1 JExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
. ]% F& `" N& Q1 t" p/ xExperience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
