Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting up, administrating, and managing very large industrial configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as multi-process servers).
+ q( D, s1 S) ~2 X% c( bAdministration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. ( c( e/ h( \! L1 Y# ^
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
. o# E" D2 c! e$ IMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
_$ V; o" {4 x( @6 NMaintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. 0 p& o# c0 C l
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. 6 Y) Y- `8 w1 ]1 l2 h' J
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. , C* Q2 @4 x# R& r1 F7 q
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications.
# W+ e3 o1 [9 u; N"MUST HAVE" SKILLS: 7 k* ~( Q; d) l0 s/ t; y- r, y: d
Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux
. H- i8 O& @6 [4 E( k% Y1 P" c, oStrong IBM SAN configurations experience
m% p) P; v+ I. FExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
+ _$ d+ q- u" LExperience with troubleshooting in large environments. 24 x 7 on call availability.
( V- T& T6 O$ K/ j7 @Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

“NICE TO HAVE" SKILLS:
