Position Title: JR. Business Intelligence Developer
4 o& o- @, [% a( J1 x) J4 hJob Description/Duties: Key Responsibilities: Acquisition of data from source systems into the data warehouse and other decision support data stores managed by the Data Acquisition team; definition, development and management of automated processes that transform data from different source formats into consistent formats compliant with Enterprise Data Model, and then further de-normalizing the data into structures tuned for query performance; ensuring data is of good quality and is accurately described in the data catalogue. Preparing program specifications, diagrams and developing coding logic flowcharts; Designing, developing, testing, coordinating, implementing and documenting application programs; Developing test plans based on functional requirements and validating expected results; support of Production Applications running in the Enterprise Data Warehouse environment Design and develop application programs required for the top priority BI projects including Imagine; New Stack EDW, Service Management Automated Service Fulfillment. Work on Business As Usual initiatives and Enhancements. Required Skills & Abilities: Strong SQL skills;Database knowledge (ideally Oracle); including data modeling, data relationships, Unix shell scripting; understanding of Data Warehousing and BI; ETL skills especially knowledge of Informatica or Cognos is an asset.
