Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
  X. {! r# t0 n% Z$ T% p6 M- Organize focus group(s)
6 t8 U, `" F' B$ Y! H5 n) U- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- }7 N0 m5 V2 s$ n9 U0 @2 v- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
, Y& l" b3 f7 @- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

0 z3 y3 W& D, N7 r& X- C% pQualifications:

' Z% q$ ]: q- V' g- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
. Q* V& ^; k& Z2 D# @/ t- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
; W/ A% S' O9 L5 ~) L1 Z% D" ?5 W- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
6 I- V* n; t0 ?! {' I' ^- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
