BIRTH CONTROL PEER GROUP TRAINING


7 }1 j0 p. e% X& N1 hThis is a peer group training where women will learn more about Birth Control Methods and Fertility, for your own knowledge or to pass on to peers in the community.
! q* m; ~3 z+ n5 I/ i
These small groups (5-8 women) consist of 3 sessions, 2 hours per session.  These groups can take place at an agency you may already be connected with or at the OPTIONS office.  
     
Topics covered include:
        Natural Birth Control Methods
" r3 N( d% [% W  \1 c% N& L) u   Barrier Methods
1 S" y$ G& p: {  W1 L& y   Hormonal Methods
                IUD & IUS  and  Surgical Methods
                Community Resources and Sexual and Reproductive Rights in
  s: h. ~; P" i' N                 Canada

2 I6 Z. s8 v1 N& Z        These service is free and no immigrant or refugee status is necessary.
