Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.
% h9 c1 Y8 _% h2 e$ Q" ]Responsibilities In this position, you will: 7 G( N2 V$ x# a4 U
• Plan and design major road and highway projects; 9 ?# B6 x+ ]* u# K
• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team; F7 K3 V% R& J k% B( b2 \/ \2 d
• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications. - l$ D* O) A& f; n2 C: Z: E
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects; $ X$ a; ]1 z) i7 A/ q7 d5 z
• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
